At one point I was thinking about just buying the after market knobs buttons and bezel and making a fake front for the original radio complete with light and pointer to fill the hole. Then putting a remote radio somewhere else. Even a dead AD radio on ebay is over a hundred bucks. I do like the look of the radio that fits the dash. One of the new reproduction radios is nice and priced to match.
