truckernix brings up a good point about the capacitors, I would personally replace them when installing a new vibrator (solid state or other wise). turkernix also brings up another good point, the vibrators are polarity sensitive, [b][i]ALL[/b][/i] Chevy trucks are negative ground and the early GMC trucks were positive ground (thru 1970 or longer). So, make sure you get the correct vibrator polarity for you specific radio.
