Neilroy, I have the actual manual, and I've looked through the manual in almost every section but didn't think to look yet, was too concerned thinking that I had ruined the backing plate, I was for some reason thinking that it was threaded. So it seems that I will have my brother help me get it out. Thanks Alvin, your generosity and everyone else's never ceases to amaze me.
