One way to unstick the clutch disk is to drive the truck up a steep hill in second (third with a granny fourspeed)with the clutch pedal depressed if the truck is roadworthy. Naturally you have to get it rolling with the starter, so start it up in neutral, warm it up, kill it, put it in gear and start it.
The carrier bearing is between the two drive shafts.
