I'm just confused as to the operation of the thing. It makes no sense to me to have a butterfly that closes when the throttle is opened. Unless, I'm missing something and that there is a difference in the way the throttle is supposed to be hooked up or something.
I've got plenty of parts for them, just want to know why the dang thing works. I'll run them if they are the best of the W-1s, but I do like the earlier style better, if only because their operation makes sense.
Would anybody feel that the early version of the YF would be a better way to go than the W-1? I've heard that the Rochester Bs tend to be a pain.
I'd like to keep a vintage looking Carb. The mono-jets do not look at home.
