yeah, JDeer's cost more but mine has performed flawless since 1991 and I use the heII out of it....more like a bush hog. The hood did crack and break at the pivot point so I threw it in the trash. Now its called the "lawn Warrior". Also the original battery lasted over 6 years. STill running........(big kohler engine)
