I am considering changing my 3 speed trans out for a od 3 speed in my 53 Chevy pickup. Can anyone tell me which trans to use? I seem to recall a post that said that a mid 70's or 80's truck had a 3 speed od. Can anyone confirm this? What do I look for? I realize that the torque tube will have to go. I have also been informed that the pumpkin from a 55-56-or 57 car will fit the stock banjo. Is this correct? Thanks for any help given.
