When I strip my body parts using paint stripper and did not have time to sand the parts I use Right Stuff De-Ruster formula #3000,metal conditioner,rust preventer from Agri Supply. Comes in a quart bottle and is green in color. I just soaked a rag really well (heavy rubber gloves) and wiped everything down.The bottle states you can use a brush, roller or sprayer to apply. I could leave the metal for months and never see a hint of rust starting. That is pretty darn good for hot humid SC weather. The bottle states that you can primer over it. But I was using it to keep rust from forming until I could sand all traces of paint and or primer off that the stripper did not remove so I could prime everything until I was ready do any repairs IE; welding,hammering,bondo work.
I can not find anything bad to say about this product,just make sure you wear rubber gloves,mask and eye protection.
