That is the brace, the one under the hood. I beleave Tim(Sw) is thinking of the same brace Because I was thinking the same thing for when the hood is closed it has that room to move if it does hit the cowl seal before the hood is closed all the way. But your saying there is some type materal under neath. would this be glude in place or just pushed in and held that way. Any I deal what to use to replace this gooey rubber ?
