I'm sure somebody has done this one here, and I'm sure someone posted it, too.... However, after a week of looking, I can't find any writeups about it. I have a 350/powerglide in mine, and I'm trying to find out what's involved in the swap to a 700R4. I know I'll need to have the driveshaft shortened, and the trans mount relocated, but if anyone can either link me the old writeup, if it's easy for you to find, or possibly put up some measurements? It's a stepside shortbox, 2wd. Also wondering if I'll have any linkage issues, or kickdown cable adjustment issues, or even if I have to have a professional install the shift linkage to make sure I don't burn it up?

I don't have the 700R4 yet, but I'm planning on going with a pre-1991 trans, so I don't have any real electronic issues.
