i took a test drive on my 53 3/4 on truck, took it out for the first time on friday. It didnt want to go in 3rd. sound like it was grinding gears.wouldnt got in 4th either. it changes gears well sitting still. the clutch releases about 2 inches from the floor before the clutch engages. im 53 and have no memory of changing gears with no syncsinizer. the shifter is in the floor. am i doing somehting wrong, or any sugesstions.
