I have a 59 C60 dump with a 261, 4 speed trans, and a 2 speed rear axle. I have roar coming thru the driveline when decelarating or lugging.
There is slack in the drive shaft and I think it's coming from the pinion. I noticed what looks to be an adjustment bolt of some kind just back of the yoke on the driversside on the rearend.
I have not been able to locate any service manuals or diagrams of the rearend for reference.Any ideas?
