#44969 03/16/2002 8:33 PM | Joined: May 2001 Posts: 477 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: May 2001 Posts: 477 | how much slopis in the pinion? put trans in neutral and check the freeplay in the driveline. any more than about 1/2 inch can be adjusted out by tightening the pinion nut. leave some slop in, about 1/2 to 3/4 inch. too tight is REAL hard on the gearset.  | | |
