Ok guys for us that remember 348's and 409's they was the hottest thing around next to fuel injection vettes. (vettes again) Anyway lets talk 409 more experience. They are very expensive to rebuild, thats why guys got fired up about 427's w/425hp you could buy it right from the factory. 454 has proven to be a really good truck motor, plus many options you can do with it. I do agree if you can get 1hp per cubic inch thats pretty cool especially inliners that can only repesent torque awesome.
