How abouts a pontiac? The 350-455 engines are all the same external dimensions. Find a P-350 and swap it in. When you've got more cash, build a monster 455 and it'll be a direct drop-in. The pontiac engines are torque monsters. The 350 in my '67 LeMans makes 400 ft/lbs of torque at 3000 RPM.
