For the "for what its worth dept". If my memory serves me correctly I think the radiators from JimCarter for the AD trucks is actually the same as the Desert Cooler radiator. As I mentioned above I bought my new one from JC a couple months ago and the price had went from 308 to 348...but I might add that was also with the tranny cooler in the bottom. I have not used it yet and its in the attic but it is exactly like the old one and is ready to bolt in. Actually I bought it when JC offered us bolters an extra 5% discount back in April. So with a total of 15% discount it cost me about 295.
Since American Classis helps support this site and JC offers us bolters a discount (last Dec. it was 25%) I would suggest giving them the business unless there is a Big difference in price elsewhere.
TRUCKERMIX: what did it cost you to recore when you had it done?
Blue50: what was the actual price quoted you to recore??
It helps us all to know the actual cost and especially in regards to the different parts of the country....or is mentioning actual dollars taboo around here?! ....or am I just to curious?! Perhaps mentioning prices, especially concerning vendors, will give them cause to be competitive and that my friends is to our advantage.
