I saw that one, I could not get the seller to respond to my emails. That would certainly be at the top end of my price range. I was hoping you knew of something a little closer to home.
Someone on another thread was doing MPG cost benefit analysis for swapping engines and my 400 small block with a built 700r4 behind it and 4.10 gears with 32 inch tall tires gets 15, 10 towing. It's hard to justify $2700+ shipping for diesel and 1/3 the hp.
I am a boat captain, I love diesel, smells like victory. My perkins powered work boat burns a whopping 1/2 gallon per hour at cruise and 1 gallon per hour WFO.
