I've got 5 of those Onan/Cummins engines. They're inline 6-cylinder Turbo Diesels with mounts like a 292. They're rated at 120 HP @ 3,600 RPM. I've confirmed the power rating on my dyno. Mine came from a UPS retro-fit to a different diesel engine. The bellhousing is the late-50's Chevy/GMC hydraulic clutch setup with the throwout fork on the passenger's side, with a 12" Chevy clutch. Any Chevy-pattern standard transmission will bolt up, and I believe a Chevy-pattern automatic could be adapted with a little tinkering. I'm planning to install one of them in a Ford F-350 flatbed I'm reworking, and possibly build a stovebolt with another one.
