I have the 1963 Chevy GMC truck shop manual one from the factory not a reprint, and on page 6-115 I see that there was a 4 cyl inline diesel engine that was used in trucks a 4-53.
What I am trying to find out is was this used in GM light trucks up to one ton versions.?
If not would this engine bolt up to a normal say 350 or 400 turbo transmission or is it different.?
I don't know much about GM diesel engines except the newer ones after 1973 were all not so good, these old ones in 1963 I don't know much about.
