I have used a sears portable blasting tote for parts to make my blasting booth in my garage. I can also use the portable container on bigger projects that won't fit in my booth. I have used plain river sand for years and, although not quite as good as some other more expensive stuff, it works great for the price. I use a screen wire as a sifter on recycled sand and my booth is hooked up to my central shop vac upstairs with a remote on and off for convenience. The hoses are grounded and it works great.
