Don't blast axles, engines or transmissions or anything like that if assembled. A bare axle housing can be blasted, but I'd think a wire brush or POR15 would be allot easier. If your flat panels are not rusty, a DA will do a nice job of removing paint. They could then be lightly blasted where pitted or in nooks and crannies the DA can't get to.
