All very good advise, one thing I can add is don't spray the frame with bed liner. There are plenty of very good paints out there just for this application. Bed liner is made for beds, and cannot be touch up if you need to drill and weld. I also don't recommend powder coat if you drive in a wet areas. I have seen to many new trucks (Fords) that are rusting away because water got under the powder coating. Joe
