I've got a lot more than you in my '55 1st Suburban, and it still carries the patina it had when I bought 6 years ago, and the rust is worse if anything.
Some of that is a little deceptive because some of the money has been spent on parts that are not installed, but some of it just reflects what mine needed when I got it.
I'm now considering a change in direction that will toss a fair amount of the work I've done on it, so its going to get more expensive before its anywhere near done...
For me this is all about the fun and satisfaction, the money is the cost of the entertainment.
