sswapp, I bought a 67 Chevell off the show room floor. It had a 325 HP 327, 4sp, posi rear. GREAT car! I don't remember all the particulars of just how the engine was set up. I do remember how sweet it was. The car handled well. It was hard to beat, even with me driving. The milage was good, if I could kept my foot out of it. That was hard to do. The logos on the front fenders read, 325HP 327 SS. It was a great set up, IMO. BB are great for making power. But they are also heavy and can make a car/truck a real hand full, sometimes it can be hard to use all the power.
