bigbadswingdaddy Shop Shark B Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 1,897 san francisco	Bill almost nailed the gmcs... 57 V8 jimmies used a 347 ci pontiac based engine. 58 gmc used a 336 V8 that was based on the pontiac 370, but debored. 59 gmcs used a 336 v8 that was based on the pontiac 389 but debored to give 336 ci.
