I was told to take the wire that goes from the top of the coil to the top of the distributor off of the distributor, hold it close to the engine, and see if electricity would arc. Well, I tried that, even had the end touching the engine when I tried this, and nothing. So either the coil(supposedly new 12v coil installed by po) is bad or the wires(from the coil to the distibutor and from the distributor to the sparkplugs need to be replaced. Anyone have suggestions?
