JDL, I'm happy to see there is another young guy interested in old trucks (and cars). I started even earlier than you, rebuilt the engine in my Uncle's 1941 Pontiac when I was barely 12 yrs. I'm now 76 and still love the old iron. Just remember everything in the old stuff is pretty logical, no computers and complicated stuff. Just look closely at what you're doing and you'll learn. I wish you lived closer to me, I'd be happy to give you a few pointers when you need them.
