you need to verify that you are getting spark at the plugs. I would lay an old plug on top of the valve cover and then take number one wire off the real plug and plug into the one on top. You should be able to see it jump the gap. You could have a cracked cap or rotor. Whatever you do, don't be pouring fuel into the carb from a large container or for that matter when it is turning over. If she backfires, it won't be pretty for you or the truck.
