I went with the Holley/Weber setup on my 56-235 engine....couldn't ask for a more trouble-free fantastic performing carb. Eliminated all the inherent issues commonly found in a Rochester. Have pictures of the install and linkage setup in my Webshots album.
After initially suffering from all the leaking, fumes,hard starts, poor idle, hesitation and rich conditions from a heavily worn Rochester, the Holley/Weber was the most logical fix. Ditto for the Carter/Webers that I'm running on my 60-235.
Stovebolt Engineering has put together a great combination that will appeal to any driver who wants the most bang for their buck.
