just finished removing mine from my 50. the barn was too dark to see the oil pump, so i will inspect that tomorrow after work. I'm also taking the distributor to work tommarrow to take some measurements and better pictures. From your pics (i'm assuming the pics are from the first distributor and not this latest one we are discussing currently) the distributor gear has recesses it's self into the pump housing whereas mine has not (i can tell by the wear pattern on the outside of the lower part of the distributer gear). but your distributor gear has a wear pattern higher on the gear than mine does, mine only looks like the lower half has any wear to it at all. more info tomorrow
