doesn't have a 2nd wire to the coil, but does have 2 wires on the 'coil end' of the resistor, on some versions its actually on the resistor, some on the ign sw

on the V8 trucks, there's a secondary circuit in the ign sw - when the start position of the sw is engaged, it puts contact to the "outlet" side of the ign resistor, when the on position is engaged, the power goes to the 'inlet' of the resistor - on the foot start version, the foot sw puts power to a contact that goes to the resistor via the switch connections
