Well, the engine is not stock, it is a 235 from a 56-62. My title shows the vin as JBA9612346, the serial no is 5jp-h 28282. The serial decodes just fine. I have not checked the number on the engine yet, so my guess is that would be where the JBA number comes from. My main concern was because I wanted to order the resoration kit, can I use the serial no to order that from Chevrolet?
