Grigg I have no question you are building a truck capable of pulling a heavy trailer, but what I don't have is anything I could show a trailer rental place proving either mine or yours is adequate to the task. Its not that I expect either of us to rent trailers, but expressing it that way seems a good way to illustrate what I'm seeking.
I never thought of that, and now that I have I won't again..
As you say, we don't plan to be renting any trailers, but if I were I would have to say that for the most part people around here in that business have some common sense, and if needed they could look at the truck and make the right call. On the legal and paperwork side it may be a problem, but nothing I'm going to worry about.
I'm not sure what your real question is though?
