From my experience, looking at a big job like pulling the pan to replace seals etc. is a little overwhelming. However, taking it in small steps and with enough time turns it into a bunch of smaller rewarding sub steps. I say this from a perspective of having done a whole truck over five years while having a full time job and raising a family. I found that I was able to admire the accomplishment of each step and plan in my head the next one. I did not have a schedule and I did not respond to the question "how long will it take? " from friends.
