I was reading V6 Fix Modelmans post in the tool forum, I think, about sandblasting and he had a link to a guy named Deve's restoration photos. In that link Deve mentioned "for a perfect fit use 11/32 bit to drill out the hinge and a "R" bit to drill the hinge frame. Now I know this guy was working on a 50 model so the first question is the hinges the same?
If so then the 11/32 bit is to drill out the hinge (PINS?) and the R bit to drill out "hinge frame"....WHAT IS AN R BIT?? and am i understanding the rest of this correctly about drilling out the pin. (what do you drill out on the hinge "frame". Does anyone understand what I'm asking or am I starting to ramble? Thanks

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
