Builder: If you do this, be sure to use something else besides the bedliner to seal the pine. We have tested many finishes and have an ongoing weathering test of ten finishes.

The only finish system that has not failed is pine boards with four coats of POR15 followed by several coats of black exterior glossy enamel. It still looks about the same as the day we finished it. I think if you finished the pine that way then used the bedliner product to provide abrasion resistance, you would have a very durable bed floor.
