The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Making a Stovebolt Bed Plywood bed

I have been tossing around ideas for my bed as well. Like some of you,I considered using plywood too, only I was going to cover it with the black turf material. I also considered using the diamond plate. I'll probally wind up buying the pine boards that several suppliers sell. If anyone is interested, I have a used pine set with the steel strips. It was modified with a fuel door in the floor by the PO. I believe it will fit the 54-59 short bed models. I purchased it awhile back to use for my truck, a '50 3600. I was going to shorten the bed but have since decided to leave it as is. Will take $75 for it all.
