I am after all still learning how to drive this old truck as it wasn't running before I started the renovation. As long as I double clutch on the up shift , most of the time it won't grind. If I don't double clutch it grinds bad. Down shifting can't be done without bad grinding. Nothing was done to the trans when the truck was apart other than a good cleaning and new gaskets and lube. It has a new clutch, throwout bearing and pressure plate. I have tried adjusting the clutch everyway possible and this is the best I can get it and it is all the way out. I'm wondering if I have a trans problem? | | |
