Hey, new guy here.
For the small motors, think outside the norm a little. I built a Jeep I6 a few years ago and put a 2bbl Weber on it with a mechanical secondary. It really woke that little motor up.
Mikuni makes a lot of stuff for smaller motors as well.
If the bolting to the stock intake is a problem, Offenhauser and Clifford Research have a lot of stuff for I6 motors.
