You have reminded me that I do have a few spare parts lying around including 2 other Rochester Carbs.
Tony is this a Model B. It came off my trucks original 230.
\'63 carb The other carb is a VariJet II from an '84 with the integral head. It has a bunch of vacuum ports, fuel return line and a complicated linkage system, but it does have a manual, not vacuum secondary and it looks like it could be switched over to a manual choke.
VariJet II Has anyone done this?
I like the idea of the noticably bigger secondary on the VariJet, but I also like the simplicity of the older carb. I'll have to think about this one a while longer.
