I bought an Envoy for my wife and I can tell you that thing can move! My 5.3 in my Sierra is fast but the envoy is quicker. When it idles I can just hear a faint whine like my Dad's old '61 but when I step on the loud pedal, that whine is a roar. This thing idles so smoothly it's unbelievable.
