Many thanx, Tony. This is a great thread. I've read the stuff at the "burb" which is where Deve's PDF files come from. My old '59 Chilton's manual has an overdrive section on these transmissions also. I got a tranny last week from Gwyn Reedy in the swap forum. He delivered it when he had a South Florida run in his big rig. I have to tear into it to find out how usable it is. That project is somewhere down the road and I'm gathering info and external parts at this point.
