For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2003 Posts: 1,132 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2003 Posts: 1,132 | Dummy that I am when I took the body off the frame I didn't make any sketches or take pictures of the points where the body attaches to the frame. I bought a new body mount kit from Jim Carter. It has 4 wood blocks and a number of rubber pads along with two 1/2 inch hex bolts and 8 3/8 inch carriage bolts about 6 inches long.
I looked in my reprint maintenance manual but it only gives info on the pickup cab, nothing on the sub body.
Can anyone out there direct me to a diagram or a manual that shows how to mount a sub body to the frame, where the wood blocks go etc. Need help as usual. Thanks Weeds | | |
