In anticipation of re-installing the engine (350) today, I ran the new oil pump with a drill to pre-lube everything. After several minutes it starting oiling great up through the rods on the left side (1-7) but there's not a drop of oil coming up through the rods on the right side (2-8). What's up with that? I can see number 8 lifters through the distributer hole and it appears there is oil being pumped to the lifters but none will pump up through the rods to the rockers.
