yrs back I had a small Mustang gas tank on my HD ...durin a long ride the bolts vibrated loose ...GO FIGURE..lol an proceeded to rub a hole in the bottom against a stud in the head.
well i drained the tank shined up the effected area made a small patch to cover the area ...an glued it on with JB ...let it dry over nite put a second coat on around the edge of the patch ....let it dry overnite an put it back in service an ran it for 8 yrs ...never leaked a bit !...tank is now on a freinds Triumph chopper an still NO LEAKES..
