Ok, silly question but - how does one determine if it is a 6 volt or a 12?
Everything looks totally original in it. Wiring wise. The previous owner said it was 6 volt but I'm finding he knew less than he thought he did about things. Could it have been converted over to a 12 volt a long time ago?
What would happen if I stuck a 12 volt in it and tried to crank it up? Would I fry everything?
I wouldn't do that unless I were sure it was truly 12 volt but... Where do I look to find out?
