You don,t have to soak the oil bath air cleaner unless it is real dirty. Dump the oil out & wipe all the surfaces with solvent. Gasoline works good if you are careful. The heavy dirt will be in the bottom of the oil resoirvoir. Nows a good time to put some black paint on it if you want to detail things a bit. Fill it up with oil to the line. I don,t remember the CCA ratings on 6 volt bats. but you want to get the strongest one you can.
