MIG welder, spot, spot, spot-you should be alright. Bucket of water to stand shock in to keep it cool, take your time, wear protection, results may vary, not responsible for injury. I'm cheap sometimes, I would try to weld it, its no good now, if it doesn't weld you have lost nothing but time. Brian
