From that view, The left is the rear and right is the front. On the frame mounted slide, that you are are referring to, there should be two horizontal bars bridging between the two frames, which the slide can fasten to.
On my slide the two bolts on the right end comes down through two holes in the frame. The single bolt on the left end goes up through another cross frame member.
I'll be happy to drop the spare and take a couple shots if needed. If your truck had this particular piece previously attached, it should be pretty obvious.
