I just rebuilt my bendix-stromburg WW carburator, and when I started the engine, it started weeping out of the gasket that seals the top of the carb to the bowl. I adjusted the float level to 3/16 like the kit said, but is this too high? it doesnt seem to be flooding out the carb. maybe the top of the carb is warped and isnt sealing? all screws are tight. I made sure there was no dirt on the gasket surface or the carb surface. what can I do to stop this, or does this always happen?
